Our friend in Uganda started the distribution around Bwindi and Mgahinga forests.
For the same school, we supported in 2023 by putting up 2 new classrooms, we started building an extra classroom.
Jawiba sponsored 1000 pair reusable sanitary pads for young women in Uganda. Some girls from less fortunate families and refugee camps always miss school during that time of the month when there in their menstrual periods. Our friends visit schools in remote areas through their local female leaders (youth female councilor or mayor) to distribute the pads.
The last final touches before the watertank is ready to use. This watertank is located in a remote area. When the construction workers need materials or equipment they ask motorcycle taxis to deliver these. Also an opportunity to ask the motorcycle taxi drivers to take some pictures with their smartphone if they have one.
